Rouse is designed to keep your sleep data private and on your device.
Apple Health — Sleep Analysis (read-only). With your permission, Rouse reads your sleep samples to estimate your personal sleep-cycle length, predict a wake-up window, show your cycles, and compute a regularity score. Rouse never writes any data to Apple Health.
Rouse stores only derived results on your device — your cycle-length estimate, wake-window predictions, regularity score, and any check-ins you make. It does not keep a copy of your raw Apple Health samples, and this data lives in Rouse's private app container on your device.
No accounts. No advertising. No third-party analytics or trackers. Rouse does not transmit your health data off your device — processing happens on-device.
You can grant or revoke Health access at any time in the Apple Health app (Sharing → Apps). Deleting Rouse removes the derived data it stored on your device.
Rouse is a personalized planning and educational tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition and makes no medical claims. If you suspect a sleep disorder, please seek a clinical evaluation.
