Terms of Use — Edo

1. The service

Edo is a personalised meal-planning app. The planner is free to use. Edo AI is an optional paid subscription that remembers your preferences and suggests meals ahead.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Edo AI subscriptions

Edo AI is offered as an auto-renewing subscription: monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may change with notice.
Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

4. Acceptable use

Use Edo for personal, lawful purposes. Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer or resell the service.

5. Recipes, nutrition and health

Recipes, nutrition estimates and suggestions are provided for general information and convenience only. They are not medical, dietary or allergen-safety advice. Nutrition figures are estimates and may be inaccurate. Always check ingredients and packaging yourself for allergens and dietary needs, and consult a qualified professional for medical or dietary concerns. You are responsible for safe food handling and preparation.

6. Content and intellectual property

The app, its recipes and its content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app. Your preferences and activity remain yours; you grant us the licence needed to operate and improve the service.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend or discontinue features. We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and limit our liability. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory local law that cannot be excluded.

9. Termination

You may stop using Edo at any time and delete your account. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR STATE], Australia, without limiting mandatory local consumer protections.
